Description Technical Specs

The Mora Companion Knife MG, also known as the "840" or "Clipper", is used by experts and beginners alike.

It's ideal for bushcraft and provides unbeatable value.

Due to the high quality of the carbon steel, the comfort of the grip, the flat or "scandi" grind, unfussy, simple design and near-perfect blade length, the Mora Companion Knife has become the de facto basic bushcraft knife.

It's the knife with which just about everyone starts.  And many people are still using them years later.  Don't let the low price fool you into thinking this is not a highly-capable knife.

The Mora Companion Knife is the knife we provide to students on our bushcraft courses. We know they are getting a quality cutting tool which will serve them extremely well.

If you are starting out with bushcraft - or looking to buy a knife for someone who is - we'd recommend you still start with a Mora Companion - either this version or the heavy duty version.

And if do fancy buying a more expensive bushcraft knife eventually - even something hand-made or custom - we'd still recommend you start with a Mora Companion Knife.  You'll be able to hone your knife-sharpening technique as well as your knife skills, making those basic mistakes we've all made, before moving onto something more custom (where the mistakes are more expensive!).

All-in-all, a great knife to start out with and to keep on using for years.

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase this item.
